4 Questions to ask:
1. Is this statement an accurate, and authoritative, report?
2. If so, and it applied to His 11 (original Christian) disciples, does that apply to me (as a Christian) today?
3. If I am a Christian, how do I think about and obey this?
4. If it doesn’t, why not?
There’s the matter of context which we’ve often discussed. There is the matter of content and, if you will, desired behavioral outcomes. Add that to the “range” of action (“all nations?).
