   ¹ Long-term cost is something magical. It’s in the air somewhere, but we can’t feel it. Short-term cost, if not handled properly, can lead to theft, bankruptcy, or jail.

   ² If you don’t agree with any of this, you’re a racist. I am not. I can stand alongside any of my “well-educated” colleagues and with a straight face use “racist” any way I want because no one can meaningfully challenge it anymore. The word has totally lost its meaning. As has “long-term cost.”
