   Corollaries

.

   (1) The Bible provides some useful information that is unavailable anywhere else.

   (2)  The Bible is unique and categorically different from other books.

   (3)  The Bible is concordant¹ with much information derived from other sources.

   (4)  The Bible does not deceive or lie to the common person who seriously reads it².

.

There are many other generalities that can be made about the nature of, and use of, the Bible. These four aspects, that I consider corollaries, are features–of the book itself–that command my attention. Each could be argued against, of course, but each is essential to logically using the Bible as a tool to finding out and doing what matters most in a person’s life.

¹ To me, “concordant” is a new (old, really) word being used more often to show–with regard to the Bible and science–how two different approaches in looking for information can complement each other in describing and explaining real history and the behavior of humans as well as certain details about matter and energy. To say more here now would take us way past a dozen seconds. While you wait, check out www.reasons.org.
