   It’s little wonder that “faith,” especially religious faith, can easily pick up the baggage of being considered something you really want or think is important that’s contrary to “reason” or just plain common sense.

   The better way to use the word faith is to let it express the confidence you’re putting into in the evidence you’ve gathered as to whether or not that evidence is worth accepting.

   The reality is that everybody everyday expresses faith in things they cannot absolutely prove or only partially understand.
